Happy Birthday Mommy!

It's Mommy's and Seeman's birthday today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

It was nice catching up with Charlene at her house. We simply love bitching, ok no no, I meant chit-chatting. And I'm gonna eat KFC with her tmr! YAY! Yummy =D I was glad she liked the present! Anyway I was really late today for Seeman's birthday celebration. Oops so sorry. But there was a jam! I had Fish n Co at Wheelock for 2 consecutive days, maybe the waitress recognises me already. I'm a loyal customer but their service sucks and I have no idea why they are taking such a long time to catch the swordfish and pluck passion fruits. They have not been available ever since the end of A Levels =(

Oh and we finally ate home for dinner after more than a week. It was dinner out everyday ever since we left for Taiwan! I really miss home-cooked food. And we cut Mommy's birthday cake. It was yummy.

I'm so gonna grow fat and die. I haven't been exercising but I've been eating like nobody else's business. And I'm gonna eat KFC tmr. Fried, fried, fried and more fried food =( But they're so irresistable plus all the food we brought back from Taiwan! Argh.

Ah it's still raining everyday=(

Merry X'mas & Happy Boxing

So Christmas is over already, presents opened, no more Christmas shopping, 2006's coming to an end.

Casmud's Christmas presents and food =)

I'll miss it, really. All the mugging, friends, joy, laughter, fun, holidaying and of course, JC life. It's gonna mark the end of us wearing nice school uniforms and the start of racking our brains to decide what to wear every morning, the end of our 45cents transport fare, the end of spoon-feeding which I truly enjoy in school. Boo HOOOO =(

Anyway, enough of ranting. I'm back from Taiwan!

Seriously, there's nothing to much to see in Taiwan except all the food and night markets. Shopping wasn't that fantastic cos everything's furry since it's winter and things aren't that cheap either although I did manage to grab some stuff. But still, I really enjoyed myself and I'm already starting to miss Taiwan. Daddy's hospitable Taiwanese friends, their daughter and her friend plus friends from Kenya. It was definitely more than fun moving around in a big group, enjoying all the scenery, food and talking. It might be inconvenient when it comes to transport but we manage to overcome it by hailing more cabs, borrowing a mini van and getting a buddy who drives to join the trip to Dan Shui. =)

It was a pity that it was raining when we were up on Taipei 101, so the view up there was kinda misty and blurred, but still breath-taking.

Can you spot the yellow taxis?

Shopping at the electronics mall, Ximending, food streets, night markets and some other shopping malls was good. The winter clothings were nice but I doubt I'll ever have a chance to wear them if I really bought them back to Singapore. Boo. Oh it was raining on the first day we were there, temperature was about 15 to 16degrees C but the wind made us shiver, then the weather got better and better until the day we left, the sun was scorching hot!

Look at the greedy faces!

Shilin Night Market

Saturday was the best day spent in Taiwan, I suppose. We went to Dan Shui and stopped at almost every stall to buy food, food, food and more food, not forgetting my chou doufu =) Yummy, I don't understand why QQ didn't like it. It really isn't smelly at all! Hohoho.

All 13 of us =D

Then we went to their villa which overlooks the sea, has a swimming pool, 3 garages including a really cute and small one for the C3. Whee it was superb! I love it there.

The way up one of the garages.

Happy family!

Then we went further north for seafood and bought cakes from this really famous bakery. There is always a queue in there. Guess how many we bought?

Look at the queue.

The bag was heavy.

Yummy yummy

20. Yes, TWENTY cakes for 13 people who just had a really filling lunch cum dinner. It was scary.

I wanna go back to the villa during summer then the jie-jie can bring me to the beach. Whee~ SUMMERTIME!

We reached the airport early on the day we were supposed to leave Taipei. I didn't want to go home =( So we had our breakfast at the airport, all 11 of us. It seemed as if we booked the entire area to ourselves, having a picnic. Scary Movie4 and Just My Luck were funny, I was watching it on Nishil's MP4 while all the women gathered around a table and talked and planned about the Kenya trip next year and the men, at another table talking about I-dunno-what. Yes we will all go to Kenya together!!!! Then maybe the Taiwanese friends can visit Singapore first before we all fly to Kenya together. Omg that sounds like a lot of fun awaiting us.

I miss Taiwan and the people and the food and hotel and fun. I wanna go back now =(

Casmud!

I've been seeing Casmud for like almost 24 hours now. But it was fun.

Shopping with Andy for Christmas presents is crazy. We were so tired that I decided to eat at Macs just 2 hours before Ashvin's dinner treat. Hahaha. But the Indian food was not bad. Thanks Ash, although the journey there made me splash muddy water all over my feet =(

Yummy yummy =P

Our trip to Mustafa was an adventurous one, we felt like tourists! And one day Ash and I will chop Bev up and put her in a luggage before depositing the baggage at the counter. Hohoho. We bought our favourite Papadum! And also some really really sweet Indian dessert that tasted like condensed milk. Hmm. It was an adventure cooking them at my house too, even Mommy joined us.

Papadum!

Our dessert of the day

AHHHH I wanna watch Death Note 2! 28 December! I can't wait! Part 1 was quite an evil one but it was nice, so glad we watched it before The Devil Wears Prada. That is total crap, wasted our time, could have played cards instead! Boo (N). Anyway while we were having our movie marathon (ok not really), it was just pure muching on Lays and drinking of Sprite+Vodka. Grow fat and die please!

Hahaha Happy Early Birthday Ashvin! I like the tshirts we bought for him. It was a sacrifice ok, for Bev and I to shop just before Prom on the same day for his present. Haha. Nice. Although we didn't go to Escape today as planned due to the eccentric weather and ended up playing pool and Mahjong at Bev's house, it was still enjoyable! I'm not sinister, I'm not a secret player! Hohoho. Well I think I'm jinxed! My team never wins no matter who I partner with =(

Nice.

Rotting Away

I hate being unemployed, especially when all my friends are employed or away.

I have no where to go.
I have no one to go out with.
I'm a loner, stuck in a concrete dwelling.

I was so bored that I decided to take a train all the way down to City Hall just to run on the treadmill in the gym on Tuesday.
I was so bored that I finally decided to go to the oh-so-big (as everyone claimed) Ikea at Tampines yesterday with Dan and Xiaofeng. But I still prefer my Alexandra branch. The feeling's just so much better and I don't have to queue for more than half an hour to get my Swedish meatballs!
I was so bored today that I woke up at 1pm and have started packing my stuff.

Char's gone to the US for 10 freaking days, leaving me behind, all cold and lonely. Hahaha this sounds wrong! No one to crap and talk to on the phone for hours, no one to complain to, no where to go when I'm bored. Ahhhh I want my bestie back, quick quick! I bet she's gonna miss me like shit.

Ah I shall go watch telly soon. I missed the last episode just now at 12pm bcos I overslept! So I better go catch the 430pm slot. Wheeee~

The Lesson

Clubbing on Sunday again? No, no, no. NEVER EVER.

Damn i guessed it was really a bad experience for poor Squid, considering that it's her first visit on Sunday night. But it's just a wrong day.

We paid 12bucks. We squeezed into the crowd, inhaling disgusting cigarette smoke in search for a dance floor, to find infinite number of guys standing around doing nothing. We squeezed our way out of the crowd and sat down to discover there's a free Vodka Booze. We drank it up and left the club.

Damn I paid 12bucks for the Vodka. No dance, no nice music, only gays.

You see them getting touchy, you see them holding hands, you see them kissing.

Get this clear, it's not that I discriminate gays okay. This is just not what we wanted or expected out of all the excitement we had before that.

We even went to Macs to eat after that traumatising experience before cabbing back to my house for sleepover.

Clubbing is bad. It makes me sleep at 7am, waking up half an hour after that to see my friends off before sleeping the entire day away. It's a pure waste of time.

I swear, I'll only go clubbing on Ladies' Nite, or any other day from Wednesday to Saturday. Never on Sunday again! It might be a Lesbians' Nite the next Sunday, you never know.

Prom Photos

Okay, so here are some of the many photos we took during Prom. Hmm now I kinda regretted being lazy and took so few photos, I think I took more during Sec4's Prom la. When will all of us dress up looking all pretty and handsome again? Oh well. But come to think of it, what's the point of taking photos with people whom you don't really know? Hahaha.

The seven A5-Oners at Prom that night.

Casmud!! We look great, don't we?

Seetal and I in our nice hotel room. Haha it looks like some family portrait!

Char and I. Yay nice tan.

Bev and I were rotting in Jean Yip while waiting for Mommy to come and pick us. So we started our cam-whoring thing again.

Salute to King Ash and Princess Winnie!

Whee! An Di must be feeling honored to have a picture with Princess Winnie!

My twin and I! She looked so different, it took me a while to realise who she was!

Welcome to Hollywood!! Hahaha.

Leechy-looking hair!

Okay that's about it! I really think it's time to start packing my room after it has been messy for almost a month. Haha =D

PROM!!!!!

Whee. Prom ytd was a total rock-the-house down party. I really enjoyed myself, and I'm glad I actually went for it despite having to sit with strangers. At least I still have my spastic Fawn and Bev.

Ok not that the entire SDD program was like god damn good la. It was pretty normal, with the lucky draws and cat walking of pageant nominees, performances by various people like Jasmine Tye, entertainment by the trying-to-be-humorous-but-sounded-rude emcee and of course food. That's about it. The whole highlight was the phototaking part. Like come on, when will you ever see everyone dressed up as if they're attending some wedding dinner. So of course, people were busy snapping away the entire night, ignoring the emcee which got him a little pissed, I think. Hahaha.

Then again, it's not as if I know a lot of people in VJ. So it was just phototaking with the closer friends. I got so tired of smiling for photos that I can't be bothered to ask mere acquaintances to post for a photo with me. But, the cam-whoring with close friends was indeed enjoyable and fun!

Hotel mates went clubbing at MOS instead of DXO. I guessed we wouldn't have enjoyed DXO as much as MOS. And I'm just super turned off by some people, so luckily we didn't pay 18bucks to torture ourselves in DXO. Anyway I think the PSI at the entrance of MOS is 300. Bloody smoky pls. Drink and dance, on heels and prom dresses wasn't really a pleasure though. We got weird stares all over and some middle-aged ang mohs and taxi uncles wanna pick us up. Like wth?!?! People started waving and commented,"eh ballerina party ah?" Sorry no, it's some private party. Shoo! But still, the dancing and gaying around with friends on the dance floor was fun, especially when we all tried to make Bev get high and dance! Zuhao was damn funny pls! My feet still hurt though, from all the walking and dancing =(

We returned to Pan Pac at 4am and only slept when the sun started rising at 645am. Kept pigging out in the room and more alcohol after clubbing! My stomach felt a little queasy after that though. And they insisted that I was drunk. NO!

Anyway, we didn't go for the original thing that we booked for at Jean Yip. We changed to the Prom make-up and hair after the guy psychoed us. But it turned out quite nice. At least my hair was ok and the make up wasn't too think until xia si ren as he claimed if we took the photoshoot package.

I will post pictures k, after I upload them. I'm too tired now =D

Pre-Prom

2more days to all the glamour and dressing up.

Whee I'm getting a little excited already.

A little nervous too, for my hair and make-up. I really hope Jean Yip won't give me some bombastic hair and make-up. That will be too much for me. I better remind them before they start doing anything.

A little scared, that I'll embarrass myself by tripping over my own heels or something.

A little happy, for my dress, shoes and bag. They're so pretty. Yay.

Hope everything turns out fine, and that it will be a wonderful night.

Anyway, back to ranting. Char and I are becoming aunties! I vistied the ultimate aunty place aka People's Park or Chinatown 2days in a row. I got my shoes there, and she got her dress made there. Woot. And I saw my dress for the first time just now. It is nice, I suppose cos I like it quite a lot! Yay!!!!

Zoo trip on Saturday with Casmud was fun and scary at the same time. The birds and butterflies were traumatising Bev and I. Everyone should visit the zoo before they move Inuka away when her Mommy Sheba dies!! Anyway I really think the animals in the zoo are suffering from some depression. Some horses and monkeys and the polar bears look so miserable. The horses were so small and skinny, they make my heart ache and feel sorry for them. Poor little things.

Save these animals! Right, Char says I can be an animal activist. HAHAHA.
